Today has been incredibly busy, so tonight's post is short.

I'm wondering if the above photo reminds anyone of Natalie Portman. Actually, it makes me think of the first film she made (The Professional). Her character carried around a small potted plant throughout the film. Oh, and the character she played in another film (Places in the Heart) also carried around a small potted plant. (It was a gift from the "Welcome Woman.") Do I detect a theme here?

Arresting Development

And now for the latest in regard to my word playing games: While not exactly the most interesting word, "arresting" is, nonetheless, the longest one I've formed from the random letters provided in the online game called Bookworm (nine letters). So naturally, me being me, I shot a picture of the computer screen so that I would have actual proof of this incredible accomplishment. Oh, yeah, and I also photographed the Scrabble board the first I used all seven of my letters.

From Front to Back

This is a project I've been working on this week: machine quilting a pre-printed panel. While this is not a great challenge, this sorta sewing can be quite relaxing. And I absolutely zoomed through this in only a few afternoons.
