Pygmalianese

Tonight I'll borrow a little bit from Eliza, herself, and say what a loverly day it has been!
Nighty night, all.

Just Dotty

I had planned on sharing one of this week's sewing projects within today's post; howerer, I am a bit under the weather and need to get some rest. So instead, I've posted the above photo as a sorta preview of that particular project. Beautiful and classic navy with white polka dots! And not cotton, but rather a 54 inch wide knit. It usually sells for about twelve dollars a yard, but with a half off coupon, I was able to purchase half a yard for about three dollars.
So, now it is time to get into the beddy bye.
Nighty night, everyone.

On the Avenue . . . Fifth Avenue

It's not officially Spring, but don't tell that to the flowers. The numbers are not large, but the blooms we're already seeing are lovely. It's as though they're already practicing for the Easter parade. The first three photographs were taken of our indoor tulips. All of the other flowers were taken outdoors.

This little gal is slightly shy and just needs a little more encouragement from the sun to lift her pretty little face.

Ready or not, here we come!

These will be striking!

That is all for now.

Claritin, Please. And Can You Make That a Double?

Here are three pictures of Scout, since I believe in equal opportunity photo posting for the two boys. And that's pretty much it because the first cousin of the headache that visitied me last night arrived early this evening.

Nighty night.

Can Someone Please Pass the Claritin?

I've had a headache all evening, so I don't feel like posting much this evening. (The sinus thing that accompanies Spring (though technically it's not officially the new season yet) is in like a lion.)
At any rate, I am posting some pictures of Deutsch. (There are none of Scout because all the ones of him I shot today contain nudity.)

Nighty night, everyone.

Tiptoe Through the Two Lips

The above photo is of the beautiful yellow tulips Squidley surprised me with a few days ago. They were not yet blooming when he brought them home. Being a lover of many things Dutch, tulips are near the top of my list. And apparently they are near the top of Deutsch and Scout's lists, too. Each of them slowly and carefully examined the beautiful blooms, and I think the tulips passed with flying colors.

Tonight's dinner was so delicious: curry. The multi-spiced dish is one whose aroma easily draws me toward the kitchen and whose taste I slowly savor.
Nighty night, everyone.

The Dating Game

I've had two dates with Squidley today. Yippee! The first was for lunch at a new place nearby. It was our second luncheon date there, but he has been there a few other times, too. The food was excellent, especially the rockfish. Our second date was a movie; we saw "When in Rome." There was a cute segment, including much of the cast, after the film was over. At any rate, yeah, it was kind of a chick flick, but Squidley was in good company because there were a lot of guys there with their gals.

Everyone, have a good evening.

Nighty night.
