Snow a No Show

This afternoon, armed with rotary cutter and self-healing mat (not to mention a strong grip), I cut fabric strips from an assortment of beauties found in two of my three scrap bins. The odds and ends there are of great value, and most will at some point or another be drafted into service, along with some of their brothers, for projects carefully planned with their inclusion in mind.

Today has been cold but not exceedingly so. And there has been rain. Originally, three to five inches of snow were predicted to fall in our area. Later, those figures changed to one to three, and only a couple of hours ago the new guess was one to two. By morning, I'm figuring it will be down to zero. Oh, those weather predictions! Gotta love 'em.
Squidley and I saw a pretty good film tonight, "Up in the Air." Interesting and believable storyline, good directing, and a well cast group of actors. On the way home, we picked up a couple of hot sandwiches. Good idea, but mine was not at all what Squidley ordered. And the thing is, he was the only one in the sandwich shop, and the "kid" could only fill half the order correctly. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Youth is wasted on the wrong people.
Tired and feeling in great need of some beauty sleep. Oh, miracles of miracles!
Nighty night, all.
