Salsa Shortcake Sunday

Today finds me feeling much improved but not ready for getting out and about. So our antique laundry has at last gotten to spend some quality time with me. We only returned from Florida a week ago, and I started getting sick during the last leg of the trip home. And being under the weather all this past week has not made me a good candidate for laundress. Squidley did a bit to get us by despite his busy schedule.

Between trips to the washer and dryer, we watched movies and had a wonderful meal of chicken covered with sauteed onion and bell pepper slices, topped with melted Mexican style four cheese. Homemade salsa for a delicious, fresh snack, and fresh sliced strawberries with pound cake and whipped cream. All prepared by Squidley. And prepared perfectly. Sweet.

So, hoping for a sweet week for everyone.
